The Impact

At Rockai Dev, I served as the Primary Backend Developer for a robust 40K+ LOC Real Estate platform. My focus was on designing highly scalable architectures that powered three distinct client applications: a public-facing website, an internal Admin & Sales dashboard, and a mobile app. Additionally, I integrated three core AI services into the pipeline.

Although the vast majority of the my work there was more backend-focused, I also took the responsibility of delivering a couple of features end-to-end, and was able to fix frontend-side code when my team needed.

Being surrounded by experienced professionals created an environment where learning happened every day. Beyond software development, I learned testing methodologies from QA, automation and deployment through DevOps, Agile planning and project management from our PMs, and best practices in teamwork, communication, documentation, and delivering software in a collaborative environment. These experiences shaped me into a more well-rounded engineer.

One achievement I'm particularly proud of is recommending two exceptional candidates for the team. One was a talented frontend developer, and the other was a skilled business development professional. Both were hired and went on to become productive, valuable members of the Rockaidev team.

Engineering Highlights

• Event-Logging Architecture: Built a comprehensive logging system that fueled advanced dashboard analytics and user personalization.
• Propai CRM Ecosystem: Owned the subscription, renewal, and provisioning modules for our flagship SaaS. Automated payments via Paymob and secured server-to-server communication using encrypted JWTs.
• Legacy Refactoring: Systematically modernized legacy administration sections to massively improve system stability and maintainability.
• High-Traffic Event Platform: Developed the backend for the EATN app, managing session tracking and notifications for over 3,000+ concurrent users.
